Fanamoris ("we", "us", "our") operates the platform at fanamoris.com. We are based in Norway and are the data controller responsible for your personal data. If you have any questions about this policy, please contact us through our Contact page.

2. Data We Collect

We collect the following categories of personal data:

  • Account information: First name, last name, display name (alias), and email address provided at registration.
  • Age verification: Your confirmation that you are 18 or older, recorded as a timestamp at sign-up.
  • Profile content: Profile picture, banner image, and bio that you choose to add to your profile.
  • Payment information: Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details — Stripe handles all payment data under their own privacy policy. We store your subscription status and billing history.
  • Creator payout details: If you are a creator, we store the PayPal email address you provide for receiving payouts.
  • Creator application data: Bio, social media profile links, and other information you submit when applying to become a creator.
  • Usage data: Content you upload, clicks on premium images, likes, comments, and follows. This data is used to calculate creator earnings and power the platform feed.
  • Technical data: Session tokens, IP address, and browser information collected automatically when you use the Platform.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your personal data to:

  • Create and manage your account
  • Process subscription payments and calculate creator earnings
  • Deliver platform features — feed, notifications, search, and creator profiles
  • Review creator applications and moderate content before publication
  • Send transactional emails — account verification, password reset, and payout notifications
  • Comply with legal obligations

We do not use your data for advertising or sell it to third parties.

4. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

For users in the European Economic Area, our legal bases for processing your personal data are:

  • Contract performance — processing necessary to provide the service you signed up for
  • Legitimate interests — platform security, fraud prevention, and improving the service
  • Legal obligation — compliance with applicable laws
  • Consent — where we rely on consent (e.g. age verification), you may withdraw it at any time by deleting your account

5. Third-Party Services

We share data with the following third parties, solely to operate the Platform:

  • Stripe — payment processing. Your payment details are handled directly by Stripe under their Privacy Policy.
  • Resend — transactional email delivery (account verification, password reset). Only your email address is shared.
  • DigitalOcean — cloud hosting and image storage. Your data is stored on DigitalOcean infrastructure in the Amsterdam (AMS3) region.
  • PayPal — creator payouts. We share your PayPal email address with PayPal when processing a payout to you.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it longer by law (e.g. financial records for tax purposes, which we retain for 5 years).

Aggregated, anonymised earnings and click data may be retained indefinitely for platform analytics.

7. Your Rights

Under GDPR and applicable Norwegian law, you have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Rectification — correct inaccurate data
  • Erasure — request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
  • Restriction — ask us to limit how we process your data
  • Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format
  • Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests

To exercise any of these rights, contact us via our Contact page. We will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet).

8. Cookies and Sessions

We use session cookies to keep you logged in. These are strictly necessary for the Platform to function and do not require your consent. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

9. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and access controls. No system is completely secure — if you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.

10. Children

The Platform is strictly for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If we become aware that a user is under 18, we will immediately terminate their account and delete their data.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users by email of any material changes. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
